» At first glance, Huang Yi is by no means an average looking person. She has long, flowy orange-red hair that would reach down past the mid way of her back if only it wasn't always seem to fllow upwards, it also closely resembles fire and If a normal person were to ask her why is it so, she would plainly say that it's because she uses tons of hair gel. Rather lanky and thin, Huang Yi stands at an average height of five foot two and weighs about a hundred and two pounds and her skin is rather tanned coupled with a slight orange-y tinge to it. She's usually seen wearing clothes that are warm in colours and also loose fitting. Almost always coming in the form of long, flowy dresses that would reach up to her ankles. Huang Yi's eyes are a bright russet brown colour which always seem to have a little spark in them, like the reflection from a flickering candlelight.
She has two diamond shaped, red gems that are said to keep her in human form. One on her forehead and another one that's worn as a necklace around her neck. They do not look anything out of the ordinary since they can be taken as accesories.
In her phoenix form, Huang Yi looks exactly what you would think of when you describe a pheonix. Feathers that are composed entirely out of fire, and a body that is mostly dark orange, red and crimson. Type up a detailed description of how your character looks like with a minimum of 200 words. Please include a picture in a link. Be sure to include where the tattoo from making a contract with a mythical creature is and looks like if your character has a contract with one.[/div]
Abilities
» PYROKINESIS - Huang Yi has the ability to create, control and manipulate flames.
» SHRILLING CALL - She doesn't use this often, but when she does, her scream has the ability to make anyone within the area to lose their hearing for several days, weeks. Whoever stands closer than a hundred metres will almost immediately go deaf.
» THERMOKINESIS - She also has the ability to create, control or manipulate the amount of heat in the area or in the air, this ncludes the heat given out by her own body so if anyone is to accidentally touch her, they wouldn't have third degree burns.
» REGENERATION - As myth would have stated it, as a phoenix, Huang Yi is granted the ability of regeneration by bursting into a flames to be reborn again. She understands that she might be reborn as a young phoenix chick again, but has no idea about her human form for she has not yet had the chance of using this ability in all her six hundred years.
» TRANSFORMATION - Huang Yi is able to take half the form of a phoenix as and when she likes. Only half of it since the red gems on her forehead and around her neck keeps her from taking on her full form. At half form, she's only granted the use of her wings, with feathers that are made purely out of fire. She is also granted the abilty to fly at about 40 km/h and can create trails of fire in her wake. Whether anything gets burned in the process is all up to her.

Not knowing the extent of her own powers, Huang Yi wasn't able to escape the cage. She had no idea that she could by all means simply melt the cage and razed the man and his house down to the ground leaving nothing but ashes. So she stayed put, until eventually, the man passed away. In his old age, the man never took Huang Yi out to show off to the other villagers. Simply keeping her near him for the light and warmth. Until then, Huang Yi had not known the feeling of resentment, but years of being locked up could do things to you. In her mind, humans were evil. They were there to lock you up, to put you in cages and to be put on display.
Before his death, the man unlocked Huang Yi's cage, allowing her to be free. Thrilled by finally getting out of the cage mixed with the feeling of absolute hatred and resentment towards the man who kept her locked up, Huang Yi's full power was unleashed and as she flew away, her flames set the house and the man ablaze. But unlike the phoenix, nothing ever reborned from those ashes.
Huang Yi flew towards the mountains until she finally exhausted herself, Eventually collapsing out of fatigue. She was picked up by thankfully, a kindly old lady who lives alone in the mountains. It turns out that she was no ordinary human. Huang Yi was taken care of properly by the old lady and was even given a name by her, Huang in honour of her bright feathers and Yi for her immortality and ability to live long. Huang Yi was so happy during that point of time, she almost burned down the house of the old lady. The old lady was not able to and had no knowledge of teaching the young phoenix how to control her powers. So, as to prevent Huang yi's powers from going out of contol, the old lady gave Huang Yi the two red gems that now reside on her forehead and around her neck. It gives her the form of a human and also cuts her powers down by half.
Huang Yi's stay with the old lady was a happy one. And also, living there kept Huang Yi's interaction with other human beings to a minimum, but she was okay with that. But there came a time where the old lady passed away. Huang Yi had no idea what to do then, she didn't want to live alone and the house they lived in held much memories. So she burnt the house down, cremated the old lady's body and made a shabby looking grave for her. Huang Yi then decided that she would move on to somewhere else, to another land perhaps. Bringing along the two red gems, she made her way to the small town of Moonlit Bay where Huang Yi now tries to live out a rather normal life.
