Picture Tall and well built, Cody is everything you would expect in an angry Irishman with a grudge. A scowl or lack of expression is usually his normal emotional output, yet this contrasts oddly with his quiet and calm demeanor. With black hair and green eyes, he sticks out in a crowd, though normally none would dare try to approach him, much less try to start up a conversation. He is usually found wearing heavy clothing, weather that be a thick jacket along with long pants, or his ammunition vest along with military grade body armor. Rarely seen in anything else lighter, even in hot weather, he is obviously very pale in completion, though for an Irish gentleman, this is common. His heavy attire is mostly due to his body bearing more than a few scars. Old burn marks cover his chest and right arm, and a puncture wound can be found on his right shin. Though perhaps not bashful about them, the quite gentleman would rather blend in with a crowd, rather then stick out like a sore thumb. His hair is cut with only a little length to work with, yet it makes sense considering his back round and job title. His face is always clean shaven, perhaps out of habit or some sense of duty. Most people would describe his style as "Old", meaning that he prefers to wear a suit rather than jeans and a tee shirt.[/div]

Abilities
» Pilot: After years of extensive military training as well as civilian job's, Cody prides himself on the ability to fly just about anything, weather that be a helicopter or a military grade jet. He has honed his skills over time, and has proved to himself and others that he can fly his way in, around, and out of any situation.
» Marksman: Like most Irishman, Cody enjoys the use and applicaion of firearms. Weather that be pistols or rifles, Cody spends at least one day each week to keep his shooting siills up to snuff. With a high powered Rifle, targets up to 300 meters away don't stand the chance, and with a pistol, nothing up to 100 meters would ever be able to get the chance to fire back.
» Army Combatives: All Army personel are trained in the art of hand to hand comabat, a mixture of Judo, CQC, and other types of mixed martial arts. It's application is more for self defence than it is about beating someone senseless, and grapples and wrestling are at its center, rather than complicated counter moves that other martial arts use. Though not an expert, Cody can certainly defend himself should the need arise.
» Raven Drone: Highjacked from the military, the Raven Infantry Assistance drone is a small remote controlled airplane with a camera, infared targeting systems, and night vision that is relayed back to a small screen on said remote control. Running nearly silent, the drone is capable of flying at 25 miles per hour, and 100 feet high, making it impossible to see via radar, and nearly impossible for the naked eye even durring daylight hours.

[/style]»
He quickly honed his skills over the next two years, and was accepted as a cargo plane Pilot, making runs back and forth from Alaska to Korea over the next year. Though the whether kept every flight interesting, it wasn't enough to keep Cody entertained, and he opted instead for the helicopter program. After another year of training, he graduated at the top of his class, immediately being shipped to operations in Somalia. Here is where Cody made a name for himself, and he flew more then 250 missions in hostile territory, almost all of witch he came under fire. Known for his unrelenting courage, or stupidity some might call it, he saved many lives by flying into landing zones that other pilots would never dare.
As operations slowly came to a close with the end of Pirate activity, Cody was slotted to head back stateside for a job as an instructor. It seemed fate acted on him during his final mission, as a rocket propelled grenade crippled his aircraft midway back to base. As the aircraft went down, Cody was able to make the landing soft enough that no one was injured but himself. The nose end of the aircraft smashed into a building, were a length of re-bar stabbed him in the right shin, It was not crippling for life, but Cody was flown to Germany where he recovered for another year.
Though the crash had stunned the young accomplished Pilot, he never lost his nerve, and once out of the hospital, he was able to pul a few strings to keep him in Europe flying. Instead of transport missions, he switched roles to Recon, flying a Kiowa Scout chopper around military bases. Though not very exciting, it was better than doing nothing stateside during peacetime. Once again, fate seemed to act on him there. With the reemergence of magic into the world, Cody was one of the first ones affected.
During a routine flight around base, Cody began to become concerned with a strange vibration in the stick and pedals of the aircraft. After careful examination, he realized that the exterior was literally crawling with small creatures, who were viciously tearing his aircraft apart. As the Aircraft began to fail, Cody began to frantically call for help, only to find that the Radio was already dead. As the rotors failed, he came falling to earth, luckily only at a height of 100 feet, landing on the bank of a lake. The Aircraft, full of fuel turned into a fireball, and Cody was badly injured in the aftermath.
On his rescue, many witnesses described Cody mumbling about "Gremlins". Once again recovering in the hospital, Cody was questioned on the nature of the crash, and as he detailed it, his superiors were convinced he was either crazy, or drunk during the flight. He was quietly dismissed from service, and sent home to California. Angry with the nature of how everything had happening, and feeling betrayed by even his friends, Cody found work as a mercenary Pilot first, or found work on the side as a tour pilot.
Deeply affected by the nature of the crash, he constantly is reminded of right he was and how wrong the military was as more and more strange things happen around the world. For the moment, he has no side to choose, and is waiting quietly for someone to explain the madness of it all.
